Driver

Job Summary:

Gokulam Grand Trivandrum is seeking a professional and experienced Driver to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the hotel industry, particularly in valet parking services, and must be skilled in handling luxury vehicles and electric vehicles (EVs). The driver will be responsible for the safe and courteous transportation of guests, parking and retrieval of guest vehicles, and ensuring vehicle upkeep in accordance with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide valet parking services to hotel guests and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Safely operate and maneuver a range of luxury vehicles and electric vehicles.
• Greet guests with warmth, assist with luggage if required, and ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure all vehicle operations comply with traffic regulations.
• Assist with daily vehicle checks, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Support the security team in any transport-related duties as assigned.
• Keep vehicles clean and presentable at all times.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with VIP guests.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of driving experience in a hotel environment, preferably in valet services.
• License: Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license.
• Skills:
• Ability to drive a wide range of luxury and electric vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Language: Basic communication skills in English and Malayalam.
• Must be physically fit and able to work in flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
