Driver - Food and Financial Assistance

You will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of collection and distribution of donated goods and materials across the Anglican Sydney Diocese as a Driver for the Food and Financial Assistance program. This casual role is based in Minchinbury, NSW. Key Responsibilities: - Complete food deliveries in a safe and efficient way - Loading and unloading the refrigerated trucks in a safe and hygienic manner - Keeping food refrigerated and monitoring holding temperatures - Keeping trucks in a clean condition, following all road rules, speed limits, and Anglicare policies and procedures - Contributing to the effectiveness of the team of Drivers by operating in a cooperative way - Assisting other Drivers, delivering, and unloading the appropriate food to the correct destination on time - Suggesting improvements and identifying hazards to enhance the food distribution process - Contributing to the development of the safety culture Qualifications Required: - Relevant NSW Driver Licence or equivalent - Understanding of HACCP Systems and Good Food Manufacturing Practices - Motivated and able to work independently - Physically able to fulfil the requirements of the position - Works well in a team - Good communication and organisation skills - Clean driving record and willingness to have a police check - Enjoys meeting people and is community-focused - Covid-19 vaccination is strongly recommended If you are seeking a rewarding driving role in a great location with a supportive team, Anglicare Sydney encourages you to apply.
