Draughtsman/woman

As a Draftsman, your role involves following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings. You will be responsible for preparing both rough sketches and detailed work using CADD systems. Additionally, you will perform calculations for materials and weight limitations. Your communication skills will be vital as you collaborate with architects and engineers, incorporating knowledge gained into drawings. Working alongside the engineering team, you will prepare, review, and redraft designs while ensuring compliance with building regulations. Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the team will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Follow specifications and calculations for technical drawings. - Prepare rough sketches and detailed work using CADD systems. - Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations. - Communicate effectively with architects and engineers. - Prepare, review, and redraft designs with the engineering team. - Ensure final designs comply with building regulations. - Identify and communicate potential design problems to the team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Science in engineering or architecture. - Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD). - Ability to draw manually is favorable but not essential. - Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities. - Ability to receive criticism positively and maintain a constructive attitude.
