Position: Interior Draughtsman

Reports To: Senior Interior Designer / Design Head / Project Manager

Role Summary:

The Interior Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and working plans for interior design projects. The role involves converting design concepts into accurate technical drawings, ensuring precision, compliance with design standards, and coordination with site teams for execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Drafting:
• Prepare detailed 2D working drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, elevations, and joinery details.
• Develop accurate construction and execution drawings from conceptual designs.
• Ensure all drawings are prepared as per industry and company standards.
• Coordination:
• Work closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers to understand design requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site teams for implementation.
• Update drawings based on design revisions or site changes.
• Documentation & Standards:
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
• Ensure accuracy in measurements, scales, and technical specifications.
• Prepare BOQ-related drawings to support estimation teams.
• Site Support:
• Provide drawing clarifications to execution teams on site.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and check drawing feasibility.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Certificate in Interior Design / Civil / Architecture (ITI Draughtsman or equivalent).
• 2–5 years of experience as an Interior Draughtsman in design or architectural firms.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3D software is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
