Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Prepare detailed HVAC drawings and shop drawings for residential buildings using AutoCAD / Revit / other relevant drafting tools.
Develop ducting layouts, piping drawings, and HVAC equipment placement in coordination with architectural and structural layouts.
Generate detailed sections, schematic diagrams, and isometric drawings for HVAC systems.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings post-installation.
Ensure drawing documentation is accurate and updated as per site conditions and engineer inputs.
Coordinate with plumbing and electrical draftsmen to avoid service clashes.
Review design changes and update drawings accordingly.
Maintain drawing logs and documentation for revisions and approvals.
Assist the HVAC team in quantity take-offs and material estimation based on drawings.

Preferred candidate profile

ITI Draftsmanship (Mechanical)
Minimum 5 years of experience as HVAC Draftsman in residential or building services projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and residential project layouts.
Ability to read and interpret HVAC design, MEP coordination, and architectural drawings.
