Draftsman

As a Mechanical Draftsman, your role involves creating technical drawings and plans based on engineering designs and specifications. You will need experience in CAD software, a solid understanding of mechanical design principles, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders for accurate and efficient mechanical drawings. - Create 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software. - Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design concepts to produce detailed technical drawings. - Develop and update assembly drawings, layouts, and manufacturing blueprints. - Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and engineering best practices. - Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers for accurate drafting and revisions. - Maintain technical documentation and update drawings as needed for design changes. - Collaborate with production teams to resolve design and manufacturing challenges. - Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness. To excel in this role, you should have: - Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software. - Knowledge of mechanical components, manufacturing processes, and materials. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities.
