Draftman

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.

Duties

• Develop and prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and plans based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet functional requirements.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders or changes in project scope.
• Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of designs.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafting work.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and design practices is preferred.
• Problem-solving skills to address design challenges efficiently.
• Time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
