As a User Researcher at Leap, you will play a crucial role in leading end-to-end user research activities. Your primary responsibility will involve conducting various user research methodologies such as interviews, surveys, diary studies, etc., to gain deep insights into user behavior. By synthesizing these insights, you will contribute to shaping business and product decisions at Leap. Your role will entail collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate user insights into actionable outcomes such as personas, journey maps, and research reports. You will be expected to employ both qualitative and quantitative research methods to identify user needs, pain points, and behavior patterns effectively. The ideal candidate for this position would possess at least 1 year of hands-on experience in UX or user research, preferably in a fast-paced and product-led environment. You should be proficient in conducting qualitative research methods like interviews, usability testing, and diary studies. Additionally, familiarity with concepts such as Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD), usability heuristics, and product discovery frameworks would be advantageous. Moreover, you should be comfortable utilizing tools like Dovetail, Maze, Lookback, and Miro/FigJam for research purposes and presenting your findings through various mediums such as decks, storytelling, and visual frameworks. Your ability to transform raw data into clear insights that directly influence product and design decisions will be crucial for success in this role.
