Mandatory Technical Skills ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET Web API (REST/SOAP) MS SQL Server (database design, query optimization, and T-SQL scripting) HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery Crystal Reports, SSRS Secondary Skills (Nice to Have) Exposure to legacy development environments such as VB6 and Classic ASP. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or equivalent cloud technologies is considered an advantage. Understanding of ITIL v3/v4 principles and frameworks. Primary Responsibilities Development & Implementation Design, develop, and maintain robust web and enterprise applications using .NET technologies. Build RESTful and SOAP-based Web APIs and integrations. Implement database designs, write optimized queries, and manage data access with ADO.NET. Design and generate reports using Crystal Reports and SSRS. Develop responsive front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Apply object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns for scalable architecture. Support & Maintenance Provide L2/L3 production support for .NET, VB6, Classic ASP applications. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues and performance bottlenecks. Apply application patches, bug fixes, and enhancements promptly. Participate in critical issue resolution, including after-hours production support as needed. Participate actively in Incident Management, Change Management, Continuous Improvement, Problem Management Process & Tools Follow the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Use source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or similar. Track and manage incidents using ITSM tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, FreshService, etc. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with team of developers, testers, internal and external stakeholders to clarify and deliver on business requirements. Document technical and functional designs, play book/run book, procedures, and best practices. Provide guidance and training to freshers, juniors and peers on technical topics and requirement handling. Ensure code quality, peer reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
