Job Description

As a Cloud Software Engineer you will plan, designs, develop, test and troubleshoots cloud based applications on proprietary products and platforms, works across the complete cloud stack ie Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) and/or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) leveraging suites like Salesforce.com cloud platform, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Azure, Google App Engine and Amazon Web Services/EC2. Interacts with product managers and other key stakeholders to drive an optimized solution within known constraints. The job also requires in-depth understanding of cloud storage services such as EBS, Amazon S3, EFS etc Involves integration of cloud applications and require knowledge of APIs, pre-scripting, post-scripting and integration testing. This is a Hybrid position based in Bangalore. You must be within a commutable distance from the location. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work remotely from your home location. About the role: Implement, test, and ship cloud hosted microservices and API platforms at scale to support the needs of the McAfee suite of product platforms and capabilities. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate with other cloud services, including external third-party services. Debugging skills to troubleshoot complex problems in production environments. Develop Unit, functional test cases and meet performance SLA requirements and security requirements. Work with DevOps to build, deploy Cloud services. Reliable and open-minded resource with strong team collaboration skills. About you: 4 to 6 years of strong, meaningful individual contributor experience as a Cloud backend software engineer is preferred. Advanced knowledge of at least one backend programming language .Net / Golang . Experience with large scale database - PostgreSQL. Exposure to the architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web applications. Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS). Experience with messaging and caching platforms and technologies (Kafka, Redis preferred).
