About the Role:

The .NET Software Developer will develop, analyze, test, and support high quality software in a
collaborative work environment. This individual will be involved in all aspects of development for our communications and resources hub for higher education outcomes assessments and will be focused on development, testing, and delivery of customer requests, analyzing and resolving customer reported defects, and prioritizing work. The .NET Software Developer will be a fully engaged member of a cross-region based team and will collaborate with the developers in the US and India.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

Development, testing and delivery of customer software requests in an agile environment
Apply clean code practices through regular refactoring. Understand, identify and work to reduce technical debt. Collaborate with other software engineers to understand and provide input on architectural anddesign requirements. Collaborate with other Software Engineers through peer reviews and pair programming. Other duties as required.

Key Qualifications of the Role

Experience building software solutions using object-oriented design and/or functional
programming. Experience with SQL Server data design, including tables, queries, SQL, etc Extensive familiarity with the .NET framework, specifically .NET 4.x and Classic ASP Experience developing secure, scalable, and highly available web applications. Experience with HTML, CSS, and JS. Experience with SOAP, REST, and JSON Familiarity with C++ is a plus. Familiarity with AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
