As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst at Citigroup, your role involves participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your contributions to applications systems analysis and programming activities are crucial for the organization. **Responsibilities:** - Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify necessary system enhancements - Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups to recommend programming solutions - Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues, conduct testing, and debugging - Serve as an advisor to new or lower-level analysts - Identify, analyze, and recommend solutions for problems - Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy - Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and team members **Qualifications:** - 4-7 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry - Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst, you will need a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. **Additional Details:** Development experience on .Net Core, C#, Generics, LINQ & Entity Framework Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, Web API) & API Securities Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies Open Shift, Kubernetes, and Docker Understanding of Messaging Framework like Solace and Kafka Solid understanding of multithreading, object-oriented programming, and various design patterns Proven hands-on experience with UI Framework Angular or React This job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
