As a Platform Administrator and Ops Engineer at our company, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation and performance of our platforms. You will be involved in monitoring and maintaining platform performance, troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams for system updates, and providing support to end-users. Your role will also include assisting in the deployment and configuration of new systems, performing backups and disaster recovery testing, and participating in on-call support as required. Additionally, you will be specifically responsible for overseeing the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Doppler platform to ensure secure secrets management across all environments. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A basic understanding of operating systems, networking, and cloud technologies is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are key for success in this position. Experience with monitoring tools and system performance metrics would be advantageous. Furthermore, you will be expected to seamlessly integrate Doppler with CI/CD pipelines and various cloud services, enforce security best practices for secrets management, create comprehensive documentation, conduct training sessions, and collaborate with security, development, and operations teams to align secrets management strategies with organizational goals and requirements.
