Job Description

of Documentation Production Officer to strengthen its communications and outreach efforts.

Position Details:

  • Name of the Position: Documentation Production Officer
  • Number of Positions: 01
  • Location: Guwahati

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in communication or related field.
  • Diploma/Certificate from recognised institutions in visual editing/video editing is preferred
  • Language proficiency:
    • Mandatory: Assamese and English
    • Preferred: Knowledge of Hindi and/or Bengali

Roles Responsibilities:

  1. Creative Visual Storytelling

  • Capture impactful project and programme photographs that communicate stories and brand messages.
  1. Photography Technical Expertise

  • Operate cameras, lenses, lighting and accessories effectively.
  • Apply diverse techniques for event, outdoor and wildlife photography.
  1. Post-Production Editing

  • Edit and enhance images using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or similar tools.
  • Perform retouching, cropping and colour correction.
  • Prepare final outputs for digital and print publications.
  1. Visual Storytelling through Motion (Videography)

  • Conceptualise, plan and shoot videos that reflect Aaranyak s message and identity.
  • Work across formats: documentaries, events, social media and creative videos.
  1. Video Production, Shooting Editing

  • Operate cameras, drones, stabilisers and other video equipment.
  • Ensure proper lighting, sound and framing for professional-quality outputs.
  • Direct subjects, interviews, or events during shoots.
  • Edit raw footage using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar software.
  • Add music, graphics, subtitles and effects to create engaging content.
  1. Creative Concept Development

  • Translate briefs and ideas into compelling visual concepts.
  • Design organisational publications, layouts, graphics, and multimedia assets.
  • Align all outputs with Aaranyak s communication goals and identity.
  1. Brand Identity Consistency

  • Maintain and strengthen Aaranyak s brand guidelines across all outputs.
  • Ensure uniformity in typography, colours, imagery and visual style.

8. Key Attributes Required:

  • Minimum 2 3 years of professional experience in related fields.
  • Strong understanding of the geographical and socio-cultural context of Northeast India.
  • Willingness to travel to remote rural areas and work in challenging field conditions.
  • Proficiency in using AI-based creative tools (basic level).
  • Hardworking, detail-oriented and team-spirited.
