DNS Specialist

As a DNS Specialist at OSTTRA India, you will be a crucial member of the global network infrastructure team responsible for managing the office, data center, and cloud network infrastructure. Your primary role will involve architecting and optimizing the DNS infrastructure on a global scale. You are expected to have a deep understanding of networking principles, proficiency in Linux operating systems, and expertise in various DNS technologies such as BIND, Route53, and Google Cloud DNS. To be successful in this role, you should possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations and architecture. Proficiency in DNS protocols, standards, and best practices is essential, as well as knowledge of DNS-related technologies like DNSSEC, DANE, and Anycast. Hands-on experience with DNS tools such as BIND, Route53, Google Cloud DNS, Infoblox, and Unbound is required. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, and HTTPS. Being self-motivated, able to work well under pressure, and having excellent communication skills are also key attributes for this role. Experience with configuration management, change management, Linux operating systems, Infrastructure as Code, and network automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Python will be beneficial.
