Responsibilities - Provide expert medical care to newborns, particularly those who are premature or critically ill, in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, pediatricians, and specialists, to deliver comprehensive neonatal care- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for neonates- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests to monitor the health and development of newborns- Communicate effectively with families, offering compassionate support and clear information regarding diagnoses and treatment options- Participate in continuous education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in neonatology- Contribute to research initiatives aimed at improving neonatal care and outcomes- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare standards, and legal regulations concerning neonatal careRequired Qualifications
