Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Oversight & Report Verification

• Review, verify, and validate genetic test reports post-analysis to ensure scientific accuracy and completeness.
• Authorize finalized reports for release to clinicians and patients, maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance and ethical practice.

Leadership of Genetic Counselling Team

• Lead, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to the team of Genetic Counsellors.
• Act as the point of escalation for complex queries or cases requiring expert input.
• Ensure effective collaboration between Genetic Counsellors, clinicians, and patients to deliver high-quality patient care and counselling outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training

• Partner with the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team to provide subject-matter expertise on human genetics.
• Train and guide MSLs in doctor engagement, scientific discussions, and product promotion strategies.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to advance awareness and adoption of genomics in clinical practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification: DM in Medical Genetics (mandatory).
• Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to a few years of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of human genomics, report interpretation, and counselling processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide both patients and internal teams.
• Ability to collaborate across clinical, counselling, and commercial functions.

Note: Other qualifications such as B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Tech, or similar will not be considered for this role.

Pay: From ₹1,500,000.00 per year
