Divisional Head Global Warehouse

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the development and implementation of warehousing strategies, optimizing warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient storage and distribution of tyres across the globe. Your main tasks will include developing and implementing global warehousing strategies, building and leading the warehousing team capabilities, providing leadership for warehouses and distribution centers globally, ensuring safety, security, and regulatory requirements, and setting up warehouse performance metrics. Collaboration with logistics, transportation, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and managing budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for global warehousing operations will also be part of your role. Additionally, identifying and implementing best practices, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives, as well as ensuring effective inventory management, will be crucial responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement global warehousing strategies - Build and lead warehousing team capabilities - Provide leadership for warehouses and distribution centers globally - Ensure safety, security, and regulatory requirements in all warehouses - Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technologies - Set up warehouse performance metrics - Collaborate with logistics, transportation, and supply chain teams - Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics - Identify and implement best practices, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives - Ensure effective inventory management Qualification Required: - Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g. APICS, CIPS) - Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technologies - Knowledge of warehousing practices in India - Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration - Minimum 12-15 years of experience in warehousing and logistics management, preferably in the tyre industry - Proven track record of success in leading global warehousing operations and teams in Europe/US - Ability to lead large teams virtually - Knowledge of Global 3PL companies - Hands-on knowledge on WMS tools - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong knowledge of global logistics regulations, laws, and industry standards Company Additional Details: - Recommendations On: Good 3PL Partners and Improvement projects,
