Distributed Control System Operator

As a DCS Engineer in the Carbon Black industry located in Naidupet, Andhra Pradesh, your role is crucial in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the carbon black manufacturing process. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling Distributed Control System (DCS) operations during shifts to maintain plant performance. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor process parameters using the DCS system to uphold stable and efficient plant performance. - Promptly respond to alarms and deviations by implementing corrective actions. - Ensure that product quality and yield targets align with defined specifications. - Identify abnormal process trends and assist in troubleshooting operational issues. - Collaborate with maintenance teams during equipment breakdowns to ensure safe isolation and restoration. - Provide technical insights for root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring issues. - Assist the Shift In-charge in coordinating production activities across units. - Ensure smooth startups, shutdowns, and emergency handling through DCS operations. - Maintain effective communication with field operators to facilitate coordination. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech / Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Process Control or equivalent. - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DCS operator. - Experience in Greenfield projects will be an added advantage.,
