Coordinate and oversee the daily loading and dispatch of drivers and vehicles.
Create, adjust, and manage delivery loading schedules and routes, unloading and receipt of unbound goods.
Communicate with drivers to provide directions, updates, and support.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and delivery information.
Monitor and track the status of deliveries to ensure timely completion.
Liaise with customers to provide delivery updates and address any issues.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Handle emergencies and unforeseen issues promptly and efficiently.
Ensure adherence to all transportation and safety regulations.
Take calls, schedule dispatches, assign loads, map locations, and direct routes
Enforce strict adherence to standard protocols and applicable rules and regulations.
5-7 years experience in a dispatch or logistics role, preferably within the industry.Proficiency with dispatch and route planning software Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards Diploma / Bachelor s degree in a relevant or related background
