Discount Management Executive

As a Discount Management Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the discount management process within the company. Your responsibilities will include the following: - Support Discount Management: You will assist in understanding and applying discount schemes, ensuring that the correct discounts are applied based on clear guidelines and rules. - Data Management and Analysis: Your role will involve organizing, tracking, and analyzing large datasets using advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in discount calculations. - Excel Reporting: You will create and maintain reports tracking discount applications, sales data, and discrepancies using Excel/ Internal Tools. - Problem Identification and Resolution: Identifying discrepancies or issues in discount allocation and utilizing Excel tools to investigate and propose corrective actions. - Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (finance, sales, etc.) to ensure consistent and appropriate application of discounts, following all discount structures correctly. - Learning Scheme Mechanics: You will learn the full structure of discount schemes and apply that knowledge to efficiently manage and track discounts in Excel. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. - Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, formulas, and macros. - Logical thinking with the ability to analyze and process large datasets, identifying trends or errors. - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data and discounts applied. - Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts, particularly related to business processes and discount schemes. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain analysis findings. Preferred qualifications: - Some exposure to data analysis or Excel-based reporting through academic projects or internships. - Basic understanding of business processes or finance is a plus but not required.,
