Job Description

Role Overview: As an Account Management Director at Rippling based in San Francisco, CA, you will lead the SMB team in Bangalore. Your role involves coaching and developing Managers and Account Managers, ensuring the team meets company objectives for growth, margin, customer expansion, and retention within the SMB segment. You will play a crucial role in defining, managing, and executing key lifecycle events to drive success. Key Responsibilities: - Build and lead strong account management teams to provide exceptional customer experience and exceed quota consistently - Drive net dollar retention monthly across the team, focusing on renewals and cross-sell attainment - Provide leadership, including hiring, training, and setting the pace for a newly established team - Develop specific goals to accelerate new revenue opportunities and expand the segment - Monitor and manage key performance metrics to facilitate growth and scalability - Implement best practices for sales and client success processes - Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve objectives in an entrepreneurial approach Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5+ years of experience scaling and managing a client-facing sales or account management team, with at least 2+ years of 2nd line management - Experience as a top-performing account manager or sales executive - Proven track record of team quota-attainment and retention - Strong leadership and people management skills - Effective communicator with the ability to build trust and work well with diverse groups - Hands-on approach, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized - High integrity individual enthusiastic about long-term company building - Willingness to challenge the status quo and take corrective actions when necessary Note: This role requires working EST hours and is a hybrid role, involving working at the Bangalore office three days a week.
