Job Description Summary As a Director of VNA (3 Products) software engineering group, you will apply your knowledge of management, software development methodologies, best practices, and proven processes to lead teams to deliver a quality software product on budget, within planned schedule with superb quality.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Performs all Software Development Life Cycle activities including code reviews, technical design reviews, and architecture assessments to ensure quality deliverables are produced on time and within budget.
Assists in developing project plans for new development efforts and works closely with program managers to establish schedules, identify risks and propose risk mitigation strategies, and communicate status to management.
Develops and maintains applications software according to documentation provided by customer or internal developers.
Ensures compliance of developed solutions with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Understands the impact of work on overall project goals and objectives and strives to make decisions consistent with those goals.
Maintains a thorough understanding of current market trends related to technologies used in their area(s) of expertise.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

Required Skills:

Ability to create detailed system designs (including user interface) based on functional specifications.
Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, data structures, databases, networking protocols, operating systems, and distributed/cloud technology.
Experience in DICOM Standards, Image Lifecycle Management, Vendor Neutral Archive Technologies.
Experience in AWS Cloud Engineering Principles, DevSecOps and Cyber Security models.
Experience leading medium to large scale software projects through the full software development lifecycle, while working collaboratively as part of a team.
Able to clearly articulate technical concepts and influence both business and IT leaders.
Collaborates effectively with multiple cross-functional teams, external partners, vendors, and customers.
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
