Director of Security Engineering

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team provides you with the opportunity to contribute to the development and operation of a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a multi-tenant cloud environment. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch cloud products to customers facing some of the world's biggest challenges. **Role Overview:** As a seasoned security engineering professional at Oracle Cloud, you will lead the development and architecture strategy of a new security platform. In this Director level position, you will leverage your expertise to build teams and platforms that address complex security issues in distributed systems and large-scale infrastructures. Your role will involve designing and implementing innovative solutions to power our customers" critical applications securely. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive a team to prototype, design, and implement a new trusted infrastructure - Define and implement security solutions for new and challenging problems - Drive and champion security tool development - Design and build security and network mechanisms, along with best practices **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - 6+ years of experience in engineering management or related field or equivalent experience - Experience managing network and security solution teams - Strong security and network experience, particularly in Network, Security, and Identity, Service architecture and Design Patterns - Strong collaboration and communication skills If you possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and have experience in a large cloud or Internet software company, it would be considered as a plus. Experience leading the development of net-new Cloud services and a strong understanding of Application Security and Security platforms in the Cloud infrastructure are also preferred qualifications. Additionally, collaborating with various technical roles and having experience with Windows and Linux environments would be beneficial for this role.,
