Director of Photography (DOP) – School Media & Visual Branding Location: Meerut, Uttar Pradesh Organization: RK International School Employment Type: Full-time (On-site) Experience: 2–6 years (experience in school/education/agency preferred) Joining: Immediate About RK International School: RK International School, a CISCE-affiliated institution in Meerut, is known for its blend of academic excellence and rich Indian cultural values. As we grow our brand, we are looking for a Director of Photography (DOP) to lead the school’s visual storytelling—capturing real moments that inspire trust, connection, and admiration. Role Objective: To take creative charge of all photography and videography projects in the school, creating compelling visuals for admissions, events, student life, digital campaigns, and brand documentation. Key Responsibilities: Photography & Videography: Shoot high-quality photos and cinematic videos of school life, student activities, infrastructure, celebrations, and interviews. Cover major events like Sports Day, Annual Function, PTMs, Open Houses, etc. Set up and manage lighting, angles, camera gear, and backgrounds professionally. Post-Production & Editing: Edit reels, videos, and photos using software like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, CapCut, etc. Deliver polished videos optimized for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and school website. Creative Direction: Plan and direct shoots with concepts that align with school campaigns (branding, admissions, testimonials). Work closely with the marketing and social media teams to storyboard, script, and schedule shoots. Content Asset Management: Maintain an organized digital library of all visual content. Manage school photo archives and raw footage backups. Key Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Photography, Film, Media, Visual Communication, or equivalent. 2–6 years of experience in professional photography & video production. Proficiency in photo/video editing tools and camera handling (DSLR/Mirrorless, Gimbal, Drone preferred). Strong visual sense, creative direction skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work on tight schedules, especially during peak school seasons. Desirable Qualities: Experience working in school/educational/corporate environments. Patience and ability to handle shoots involving children, staff, and parents. Organized, punctual, and solution-oriented.
