Director of Engineering

As the Director of Engineering and Delivery at TechBlocks, you will play a crucial role in leading development teams specializing in the latest web, mobile, and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead complex design sessions and collaborate with customers and business partners to establish development requirements. - Evaluate potential solutions for technical and business suitability, providing expertise in developing digital solutions to meet business needs. - Guide programmers in tasks related to solution delivery, including implementing testing concepts and ensuring code quality. - Define software development plans, scope projects, and make key decisions regarding platform selection and code quality assurance. - Develop processes to organize workflow efficiently, ensuring output quality, precision, and timeliness. - Provide accurate estimates for development tasks, validate estimates from team members, and offer technical mentoring and support. - Collaborate with HR and Recruitment teams for talent acquisition, career planning, and retention activities. Qualifications: - Graduate in an Engineering discipline, with preference for MS or MBA. - Minimum of 15 years of experience, with expertise in MS Azure, AWS, or GCP public cloud. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft.NET, open-source stack, and leading-edge UI and JavaScript frameworks.
