Director of Engineering Digital Experience Platforms (DXP)

As a Director of Engineering for the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) practice, your role will involve leading the offshore delivery center and overseeing a portfolio of enterprise-grade digital transformation projects. You will be responsible for technical leadership, people management, and ensuring delivery excellence across projects that leverage platforms such as Sitecore, Optimizely, Contentstack, and related AI-driven personalization and automation technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Define and enforce engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices within the DXP ecosystem. - Guide solution and technical architects across various DXP platforms to ensure scalability, security, and compliance alignment. - Lead innovation initiatives by leveraging AI tools and composable architecture principles. - Own delivery governance for offshore DXP engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery within budget. - Drive engineering productivity through the introduction of AI-led development accelerators and automated QA processes. - Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and delivery dashboards for performance measurement. - Standardize engineering documentation practices, including architecture blueprints and design documents. - Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. - Collaborate with global DXP leadership to define technical roadmaps and expand capabilities in emerging DXP technologies. - Contribute to pre-sales activities, RFP responses, and client solutioning with detailed technical inputs. - Represent the DXP practice in internal and external forums to showcase engineering excellence. Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of overall experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership or director-level roles. - Proven experience with DXP platforms such as Sitecore, Optimizely, Contentstack, or similar headless platforms. - Deep understanding of modern web architecture, AI applications, cloud platforms, and DevOps CI/CD automation. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, global delivery environment with distributed teams. - Sitecore, Optimizely, or Contentstack certifications are preferred. - Experience leading multi-tenant SaaS or large-scale composable architecture implementations would be advantageous. - Exposure to AI engineering, automation frameworks, and different client delivery models is a plus.,
