Role Overview: Zenwork, a technology-first company in the field of Tax Automation and GRC, is looking for a talented individual to join their team as a Technical Leader. As a pivotal member of the company, you will be responsible for driving the technical vision, ensuring robust architecture, and fostering a culture of excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Strategic Leadership: - Lead the software engineering team with expertise in Node.js, Python, Java, or similar languages to develop innovative and scalable solutions. - Spearhead AI and ML initiatives for next-generation fintech solutions. - Drive the strategic direction of the engineering team with a focus on Node.js framework and associated technologies. - Define and deliver a technology roadmap that promotes innovation and aligns with business objectives. - Technical Excellence: - Oversee software architecture to ensure scalability and robust design. - Lead AI initiatives to enhance product capabilities and market differentiation. - Team & Project Management: - Mentor engineering managers and senior engineers to promote professional growth and team cohesion. - Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. - Establish and enforce best practices for engineering excellence, including code quality, testing, and deployment. - Collaboration & Delivery: - Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. - Interface with stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines. - Manage project budgets, timelines, and team performance using key metrics. Qualifications Required: - Technical Expertise: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, focusing on Node.js technologies, Node.js, Python, Java, or similar languages. - Proficiency in messaging technologies, microservices, API design, and relational/NoSQL databases. - Leadership & Collaboration: - Proven ability to scale engineering teams and processes in high-growth environments. - Exceptional problem-solving skills and decision-making in dynamic settings. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Process-Driven Approach: - Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and their implementation across teams. - Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices.,
