Director Finance - AR, AP & Treasury

As the National Working Capital Manager for one of the leading global logistics companies, your primary responsibility will be to design and implement working capital optimization strategies at a national level. You will be in charge of setting and monitoring key working capital metrics such as DSO, DPO, and inventory turnover. Identifying areas for improvement in the cash conversion cycle and proposing actionable plans will be a crucial part of your role. In terms of receivables management, you will oversee credit control policies and customer risk assessments. It will be your duty to ensure the timely collection of receivables and manage overdue accounts efficiently. Collaboration with sales and commercial teams to strike a balance between revenue growth and credit exposure will also be essential. Another critical aspect of your job will involve improving supplier relationships while simultaneously managing cost and cash flow targets effectively. Supporting daily and long-term cash flow planning and forecasting will be part of your responsibilities. You will be required to analyze trends and variances in working capital components and assist in preparing liquidity reports for senior management and auditors. Ensuring that working capital policies align with internal controls and regulatory requirements will fall under your domain of compliance and risk management. As for the educational qualifications and experience expected for this role, a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required, with an MBA or CA being preferred. You should have 8-12 years of relevant experience in finance, treasury, or working capital management, along with a strong understanding of cash flow cycles, credit risk, and financial operations. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and financial reporting tools is necessary. Experience working in complex, multi-location environments will be considered an advantage.,
