Director Finance & Accounts

As the Director - Finance & Accounts, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, managing financial budgeting, reporting activities, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing financial data, driving strategic financial initiatives, and optimizing the organization's financial health. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and enhance decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: - Managing the financial reporting for the organization, including monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5-year financial plans, and all statutory financial reporting. - Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the Management to make critical business decisions in a timely manner. - Presenting financial results and insights to the Management. - Playing a key role in the formulation of the business strategy. - Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organization and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice. - Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring appropriate treasury controls. - Managing External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards. - Managing and overseeing the company's banking and borrowing arrangements. - Managing and overseeing the company's financial systems. - Recruitment, training, mentoring, and development of Team members. - Implementing Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place. - Overseeing commercial decision-making from margin analysis, pricing analysis, etc. - Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs. Key Aspects of the role: - Financial Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting. - Balance sheet consolidation. - AR control, cash flow management, financial ratios. - Banking - cash credit limit, credit renewal. - Insurance matters, FEMA, INDAS. - Taxation - GST, Income Tax, direct & indirect taxes. - Exposure to ERP - SAP / Microsoft / SAP S4. - Forex accounts management. Qualifications: - Strong skills in Financial Planning and Finance, including the ability to design and implement effective financial strategies. - Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and developing insights from financial data. - Exceptional Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and contribute to strategic decision-making. - Expertise in Financial Reporting, ensuring compliance & accuracy in reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies. - Must be a qualified CA or CFA with a minimum of 15 years of experience. - Proven leadership experience in financial management roles. - Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.,
