Director- Experience Design

As an experienced professional with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for various key aspects in the field of UX design and strategy. Your primary responsibility will be in UX Research and Strategy, where you will play a crucial role as an individual contributor in user research and strategy phases. You will be involved in deep user research to gather valuable insights and contribute to the development of user-centric experiences for digital products. Your creative problem-solving skills will be put to the test in translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to ensure intuitive user experiences. Additionally, you will review UI architecture, interface, and interaction wireframes to enhance the overall user experience. In terms of Project Management, you will be tasked with managing multiple projects, ensuring quality deliverables within specified timelines. Client communication and customer success will be a significant part of your role, along with mentoring and guiding team members on UX aspects. You will actively contribute to project plans and scrum charts to facilitate project progress. People Management will be another crucial aspect of your role, where you will oversee processes, conduct daily scrum meetings to track progress, and ensure the team's productivity and growth. Your involvement in Practice Building & Growth will include participating in pitch presentations for UX, driving proof of concepts, and taking accountability for the growth of the UX design practice. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing client deliveries, and leading the hiring, training, and nurturing of the design team. Key Requirements for this role include proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Invision, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator, along with demonstrated experience in people and project management. A strong understanding of user-centered design principles, user research, testing methodologies, rapid prototyping, and usability concerns is essential. Excellent communication skills, creative thinking, logical abilities, and a background from a Tier 1 College with Design education will be advantageous for this position.,
