Director Evidence Generation

As the Evidence Generation Director at Novartis, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the product medical strategy and integrated evidence planning. Your expertise will be instrumental in leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative evidence strategies. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of scientific, technical, and strategic aspects to ensure the successful delivery of impactful evidence solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide scientific oversight and leadership for various study types, including interventional and non-interventional studies, consistent with Integrated Evidence Plans (IEP). - Develop study concepts, protocols, and reports, and contribute to final analyses and interpretations for publications and presentations. - Influence product medical strategy and integrated evidence planning to support the value of Novartis medicines with robust evidence. - Engage with external stakeholders, internal teams, and decision boards to drive evidence generation initiatives effectively. - Act as a thought leader to implement evidence strategies and tactics, fostering innovation in evidence generation approaches. - Lead or contribute significantly to cross-functional and external evidence initiatives to drive process improvements and training. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will stay updated on emerging applications, trends, and requirements in evidence generation, driving the development of innovative evidence solutions. **Essential Requirements:** - Minimum 7 years of experience in evidence generation within the pharmaceutical industry, academic research, or healthcare settings. - Expertise in trial design and RWE methodologies with a strong understanding of global regulatory and access environments. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, strong communication skills, and results-focused mindset. - Experience in operating within a complex global matrix environment and being an excellent team player. **Desirable Requirements:** - Extensive industry experience in generating evidence across different stages of drug development. - Strong leadership experience with international, multidisciplinary drug development teams. - Proficient external presence and connectivity within the industry.
