As the ESG Director at Parul University, you will play a crucial role in driving sustainability and ethical business practices within our institution. Your main responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies that enhance our environmental, social, and governance performance according to global standards and best practices. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business administration, or a related field. An advanced degree would be advantageous. You must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in ESG frameworks and standards. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG management, corporate sustainability, or a related field is required. Desirable skills for this position include prior experience in developing and implementing ESG strategies, as well as strong interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration across departments. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing ESG strategies and initiatives to improve Parul University's sustainability performance, conducting ESG assessments to identify areas for enhancement, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making processes. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on key ESG performance indicators, staying informed about emerging ESG trends and frameworks, engaging with external stakeholders to promote transparency and accountability, and leading training programs to raise awareness about sustainability and responsible business practices among staff and students.
