As a Director- Enterprise Integration Architect at AstraZeneca, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of enterprise integration. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative API products and technologies, ensuring alignment with AI platforms, and fostering a culture of thought leadership and collaboration within our Global Enterprise Architect Team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop scalable API solutions. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts. - Set procedures, guidelines, and standards for API development. - Ensure APIs are secure, efficient, and user-friendly. - Solve API performance issues and maintain documentation. - Conduct code reviews, monitor usage metrics, and implement versioning strategies. - Stay updated with industry trends, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior developers. - Work closely with DevOps teams for smooth deployment and participate in architectural discussions. - Develop and maintain API testing strategies, ensure compliance with data protection regulations, and optimize performance. - Manage API gateways, coordinate with vendors, and implement security measures. - Create and maintain API usage policies and drive thought leadership within the organization. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, AI engineering, or related field. - Experience in enterprise Integration/API platform architecture. - Proficiency in conceptual and logical data modeling technologies. - Strong understanding of IT architectural patterns and methodologies. - Familiarity with Integration/API platforms, cloud-based containerization, and lifecycles. - Desirable skills include a post-graduate degree, knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs, proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or Node.js, experience with API management tools, cloud platforms, microservices architecture, problem-solving skills, communication abilities, API security protocols, agile environment experience, data format knowledge, version control systems proficiency, CI/CD pipelines knowledge, clean code writing skills, performance tuning, SDLC understanding, mentoring capabilities, API testing frameworks experience, and familiarity with data protection regulations.
