Job Description

As the Director of Compensation and Benefits for India and EMEA at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies that align with the company's objectives and market practices. Reporting to the Vice President of Total Rewards, your responsibilities will include managing salary reviews, incentive budgets, equity programs, and ensuring compliance with local laws. Working closely with regional business leaders and HR partners, you will contribute to the enhancement of compensation and benefits programs to attract, reward, retain, and engage team members effectively. Your key responsibilities will involve strategic planning to drive the compensation and benefits strategies for India and EMEA, monitoring and creating new hire offers for Directors and above, ensuring market competitiveness, designing and implementing retention programs, and providing advisory support to leaders as the functional expert in compensation and benefits programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws, providing high-quality customer service, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting market analysis, and managing relationships with Total Rewards vendors. To qualify for this role, you should have proven experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably in a multinational organization. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, while an advanced degree or certification in Compensation and Benefits would be advantageous. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. A deep understanding of compensation and benefits practices, market trends, and compliance requirements in India and EMEA is also necessary.
