Director, Communications Operations

As the IT Director of Communications Operations at Kroll Enterprise, your role will involve leading the vision and technical support services for various communication engineering aspects, including identity & access management, M365 collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange), external DNS, certificate lifecycle management, and more. You will interact with senior leadership, providing directions and roadmaps to technical teams, both FTE and Managed Service provider. Responsibilities: - Define and execute the M365 roadmap aligned with organizational goals - Provide a broad vision for the team in domain areas - Partner with the business to identify areas for operational improvement and collaboration - Oversee administration, governance, and lifecycle management of M365 services - Administration of distribution list automation and Mimecast email gateway - Management and guidance on the Auth0 identity platform - Administration, automation, and guidance for certificate lifecycle management - Support and maintenance of enterprise SSO configurations - Power Platform support and guidance - Ensure adherence to SLA for requests in a high-volume environment - Provide guidance on proper security processes and liaise with InfoSec - Mentor a high-performing, global distributed team - Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and budget planning Requirements: - 10+ years in IT leadership roles, with 5+ years focused on M365 and cloud services - Proven experience aligning technical initiatives with business outcomes - Deep knowledge of M365 architecture, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Entra AD, on-prem AD, and enterprise security frameworks - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills - Extensive knowledge and experience with Windows-based technologies - Deep understanding of external DNS, identity and access management, and Auth0 - Experience with certificate lifecycle management and industry standards - Excellent understanding of managing SSO at enterprise scale About Kroll: Kroll is the premier global valuation and corporate finance advisor specializing in complex valuation, disputes and investigations, M&A, restructuring, and compliance and regulatory consulting.
