Job Title: Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join our Behavioral Health team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining extracts, hypers, and reports that provide key insights and help drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure that data visualizations and reports are both accurate and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Integration & ETL

• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure the proper data integration and transformation for Tableau reports.
• Work with large datasets from various data sources (databases, data warehouses, APIs) to extract, transform, and load data into Tableau.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all visualizations and reports.

Data Analysis

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that drive business decisions.

Collaboration & Communication

• Act as the Tableau subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance to other analysts and developers on best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate insights, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Performance Tuning

• Optimize Tableau performance, both at the workbook level and the infrastructure level, to ensure fast and efficient dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any performance bottlenecks or issues within Tableau and the underlying data infrastructure.

Documentation

• Maintain detailed documentation of extract, hyper, SQL commands, and data sources, and business logic for future reference and scalability.

Required Qualifications:

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and working with large datasets.
• Proven track record of working with hypers, extracts, and data analytics

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills for querying databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating cloud data into Tableau.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
