Job Description

Role Overview: As a part of Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to shape your career according to your preferences and be supported by a collaborative community of colleagues worldwide. Your main role will involve playing a key part in "Direct Tax" and "Tax Litigation." You will coordinate and assist external consultants and legal counsels for appeals at CIT (A), DRP, ITAT, High Court, and Supreme Court. Additionally, you will conduct issue-based detailed research and analysis for ongoing and past tax litigations. It will be your responsibility to provide real-time updates on Income Tax changes, prepare and file appeals, and handle order giving effects & rectifications with the revenue department. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and assist external consultants and legal counsels for appeals at various levels - Conduct detailed research and analysis for tax litigations - Stay updated on Income Tax changes and update the internal team and management - Prepare and file appeals within defined timelines - Prepare written submissions/paper book within defined timelines - Handle order giving effects & rectifications with the revenue department Qualification Required: - CA qualification with 5 to 8 years of post-CA experience - Knowledge of Direct Tax Laws and transfer pricing - Updated knowledge of case laws - Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills - Strong analytical skills - Ability to work independently with various stakeholders - Working knowledge of ERP, Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point - Ability to handle and lead a team of 2 people Additional Information: Capgemini is committed to fostering an inclusive work environment where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and encouraged.
