Diploma Engineer Trainee

Role Overview: At MAHLE, as a leading international development partner and systems supplier to the automotive industry, you will be responsible for operating the CNC Machines in the Machine shop Camshaft maintenance department. Your role will include attending the production line, morning meetings, operating machines, collaborating with setters, and participating in AM activities with the TPM team. Key Responsibilities: - Attend the production line 5 minutes before the shift starts on a rotation system of first, second, and third shifts. - Attend the morning meeting to understand the production target for the day. - Check availability of Control plan & SOP on the work station and inform the Shift supervisor if missing. - Update the machine checklist and provide training if needed. - Operate machines by loading and unloading components, performing necessary inspections, and stopping the machine in case of any abnormality or defect. - Change tools according to tool life, update necessary records, and work closely with setters on machine settings. - Clean machines at the end of the shift before handing over to the next shift operator. - Participate in AM activities with the TPM team and update the OEE sheet with all necessary downtimes. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field. - Ability to work in a team environment and follow production schedules efficiently. - Strong attention to detail and ability to identify abnormalities in machine operations. - Prior experience in operating CNC Machines and understanding manufacturing processes is preferred.
