Sr. Engineer - Machine Shop Maintenance

Role Overview: As a Sr. Engineer - Machine Shop Maintenance at MAHLE Engine Comp. (IN), you will be responsible for specialized electrical maintenance of the machine shop. Your primary focus will be on handling and managing shift maintenance of various CNC machines, control systems, drives, and PLC systems. Your role will also involve implementing safety systems, ensuring preventive maintenance of utility systems, and optimizing energy consumption. Key Responsibilities: - Specialized in electrical maintenance of machine shop with hands-on experience in handling and managing shift maintenance - Proficient in working with CNC machines such as Horizontal and Vertical machining centers, CBN Grinding machines, Turning machine, Special purpose machines, Super finishing machines, Auto Loader Gantry, Inspection Equipment - Well-versed in Control Systems including Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, Toyoda; Drives like Fanuc, Siemens, Rexroth, Indramat; and PLC systems such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley - Knowledgeable in PLC programming, Data Handling, Program Upgradation, troubleshooting, MTTR, MTBF, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, sourcing of spare parts, and Cost reduction of spare parts - Implement safety systems based on HIRA, LOTO, Risk and Hazard Analysis findings, and ISO Standards - Ensure preventive maintenance and performance evaluation of Utility Systems like Power distribution Panel - HT, LT, ACB, VCB, power transformers, Compressors, Diesel Generators, Forklift, Chiller unit, UPS - Maintain the centralized filtration system, monitor and optimize energy units consumption, and implement 5's & TPM Qualifications Required: - BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering - 8-10 years of experience in machine shop maintenance - Monday to Saturday working schedule Additional Company Details: MAHLE is an international leading development partner and supplier to the automotive industry, focusing on developing innovative solutions for climate-neutral mobility.
