Dimensional Management Engineer

You are looking for Dimensional Management Engineers with 6-8 years of experience in the automobile industry, specifically in the Body in White domain & Exterior/ Interior. Your role involves working on the end-to-end dimensional management process for Body in White during the product development phase until SOP. This includes defining tolerance specifications, creating gap & flush plans, defining tolerance concepts, and validating concepts through digital tolerance simulation. Key Responsibilities: - Perform tolerance stack-up studies (1D, 2D, or 3D) during the development phase to identify potential risks in production and provide solutions such as measurement strategy, alignment strategy, tolerance specification, assembly sequence, or design adjustments. - Execute tolerance simulation in 3DCS to replicate the production process digitally. Ensure the usage of correct probability distribution in relation to the manufacturing process and validate the robustness of the concept. - Ensure the quality and timelines of every delivery in the project by closely monitoring and managing the dimensional management process. - Create Gap & Flush plans and concepts to ensure the visual quality of the vehicle meets the specified standards. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E) or Master's degree (M.Tech) in a relevant field or equivalent qualification. - Proficiency in Domain Specific BIW with UG NX & GD&T with 3DCS tools. - A minimum of 3 years of overall experience in a related role within the automobile industry.
