As a Product Engineer at Adient, you will play a crucial role in the automotive seating industry. With our global presence and commitment to excellence, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the production and delivery of automotive seating for major OEMs. Your responsibilities will include validating and creating proposals for Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing in drawings, executing Tolerance Simulation using advanced software, analyzing and documenting simulation results, and making recommendations for product design improvements based on simulation data. Additionally, you will lead workshops on geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing, collaborate with various teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality, and support our global network of suppliers. To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates with a degree in engineering, vehicle construction, or equivalent education and experience. A fundamental understanding of quality concepts such as Datum / RPS system, Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and Statistical process control is essential. Knowledge of statistical tolerance investigations and 3D tolerance calculation software will be advantageous. Proficiency in English, basic MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills, along with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and effective communication abilities are key qualifications we are looking for.
