As a Site Reliability Engineer Senior in the Digital Banking Team at FIS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of infrastructure and applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and maintaining monitoring solutions for infrastructure, application performance, and user experience. - Applying best engineering and architectural concepts to enhance system reliability. - Implementing automation tools to streamline tasks, scale infrastructure, and ensure seamless deployments. - Ensuring application reliability, availability, and performance by minimizing downtime and optimizing response times. - Tackling complex development, automation, and business process problems. - Leading incident response, including identification, triage, resolution, and post-incident analysis. - Conducting capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization. - Collaborating with security teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance. - Managing deployment pipelines and configuration management for consistent and reliable app deployments. - Collaborating with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to align on reliability goals and incident response processes. - Participating in on-call rotations and providing 24/7 support for critical incidents. You should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Proficiency in development technologies, architectures, and platforms (web, API). - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. - Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, and logging frameworks such as Splunk and ELK Stack. - Experience in incident management and post-mortem reviews. - Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps. - Ownership approach to engineering and product outcomes. - Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
