Digital SRE - Banking Team

As a Site Reliability Engineer Senior in the Digital Banking Team at FIS, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and relevant issues in financial services and technology. You will be part of a dynamic team that values curiosity, motivation, and forward-thinking. This role is based in Bangalore with a hybrid work model of 2 days in-office and 3 days virtual. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining monitoring solutions for infrastructure, application performance, and user experience. You will apply best engineering and architectural concepts, implement automation tools to streamline tasks, scale infrastructure, and ensure seamless deployments. Ensuring application reliability, availability, and performance will be crucial, minimizing downtime and optimizing response times. Additionally, you will tackle complex development, automation, and business process problems, lead incident response, conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in development technologies, architectures, and platforms, experience with cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code tools, knowledge of monitoring and logging frameworks, incident management skills, troubleshooting abilities for complex technical issues, proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and an ownership approach to engineering and product outcomes. Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are also essential.
