Job Description

As a Digital Product Manager at Scholastic India Education, you will be responsible for leading the development of K-12 digital learning products in Bangalore/Pune. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with cross-functional teams to create adaptive and personalized educational solutions that promote literacy on a global scale. Your key responsibilities will include defining and executing the product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. You will gather and prioritize product requirements, working closely with stakeholders to translate product strategy into detailed user stories. Collaborating with UX/UI designers and engineers, you will ensure the delivery of seamless digital experiences. Throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization, you will use data and customer feedback to drive product decisions and enhance performance metrics such as engagement, retention, and conversion rates. Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be essential, with a focus on client retention and identifying upselling opportunities. To excel in this role, you must have a background in publishing, edtech, e-commerce, or online publishing. Your experience should encompass planning budgets, implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and participation in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives will be crucial. Monitoring industry trends, analyzing competitors, and staying informed about emerging technologies will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with an MBA considered a plus. With at least 9 years of experience in digital product management or a similar role, you should possess a strong grasp of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management. Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and stakeholder management expertise are essential for success in this position. Technical fluency, including the ability to comprehend and discuss architectural concepts, APIs, and data models, is required. A customer-centric mindset, coupled with a passion for user experience and innovation, will set you apart as a valuable member of our team.
