Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • SEO Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement SEO strategies for both websites, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and performance monitoring.
  • Website Development & Maintenance:

    Manage and maintain WordPress (One Accounting) and Shopify (One Party Rental) sites, ensuring they are user-friendly, functional, and SEO-friendly.
  • Content Creation & Management:

    Plan and oversee content for SEO and engagement goals, tailoring it for B2B (blog posts, case studies) and B2C (product descriptions, visual content) audiences.
  • Social Media Marketing:

    Develop and execute a social media strategy for One Party Rental, creating engaging content, managing posts, and fostering community engagement.
  • Analytics & Reporting:

    Track and analyze key performance metrics across SEO, websites, and social media using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, providing monthly reports and recommendations.
  • Strategy & Collaboration:

    Tailor marketing approaches for B2B and B2C audiences, ensuring consistent branding and integrating SEO with content and social media.
  • Stay Up-to-Date:

    Continuously learn about SEO algorithm updates, digital marketing trends, and e-commerce best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience:

    3-5+ years in digital marketing, strong focus on SEO and web content management, and experience in social media campaigns.
  • SEO Expertise:

    In-depth knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO, familiarity with SEO tools, and ability to develop and execute SEO strategies.
  • Web Development Skills:

    Proficiency in WordPress (customizing themes, managing plugins, basic coding) and Shopify (theme customization, app configuration).
  • Social Media & Content Skills:

    Proven ability to create engaging content for social media and blogs, excellent writing skills, and experience with social media management tools.
  • Marketing Strategy:

    Broad understanding of digital marketing channels and integrated campaign planning.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven:

    Comfortable with data analysis, interpreting metrics, and preparing performance reports.
  • Self-Motivated & Organized:

    Strong self-management, initiative, and time-management skills for a solo, remote position.
  • Communication:

    Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Location:

    Candidate should be based in India, with a preference for candidates from Bangalore, Kerala, Chennai.
