You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, enhance brand awareness, and foster customer engagement within our target B2C market. You will have a significant impact on our growth trajectory and will be expected to be hands-on across various digital marketing channels. Responsibilities: Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive digital marketing plans aligned with the company's objectives and target audience, considering budget constraints. Identify and prioritize the most effective digital channels, including social media, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, content marketing, and potentially influencer marketing. Establish clear and measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of digital marketing initiatives. Examples of relevant KPIs for a digital payments company include: Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): The cost to acquire a new user. Monthly/Weekly Active Users (MAU/WAU): The number of unique users engaging with the platform regularly. Transaction Volume and Value: The total number and monetary value of transactions processed. Conversion Rates: The percentage of website visitors or leads completing desired actions (e.g., app downloads, registrations, first transactions). Customer Retention Rate: The percentage of users who continue using the platform over time. Churn Rate: The rate at which users stop using the platform. Average Revenue Per User (ARPU): The average revenue generated from each user. Mobile App Engagement: Metrics like session duration, frequency of use, and feature adoption. Manage and optimize marketing budgets across different channels to maximize ROI. Build Brand Awareness and Drive User Acquisition: Develop and execute engaging content strategies across various platforms (blog posts, social media updates, infographics, videos, etc.) that resonate with the target audience and highlight the benefits of our digital payment solutions. Implement SEO best practices (keyword research, on-page optimization, link building) to improve organic visibility in search engine results. Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and social media, focusing on cost-effective strategies and precise audience targeting. Explore and leverage organic social media strategies to build a community, increase brand visibility, and drive traffic. Identify and explore opportunities for partnerships or collaborations with other relevant businesses or influencers to expand reach within budget. Enhance User Engagement and Loyalty: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns for user onboarding, engagement, and retention, including newsletters, promotional offers, and product updates. Manage the company's social media presence, fostering interaction, responding to inquiries, and building a positive brand image. Implement strategies to encourage user referrals and word-of-mouth marketing. Monitor online reviews and feedback, addressing customer concerns and leveraging positive feedback. Analyze Performance and Iterate: Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and platform-specific analytics to track campaign performance, user behavior, and key metrics. Generate regular reports on digital marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Conduct A/B testing on various elements (e.g., ad copy, landing pages, email subject lines) to improve conversion rates and campaign effectiveness. Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly within the fintech and digital payments landscape. Resourcefulness in a Startup Environment: Be adept at working with limited budgets, prioritizing cost-effective strategies and maximizing free or low-cost tools and resources. Demonstrate the ability to wear multiple hats and be flexible in taking on various marketing tasks as needed. Be proactive in identifying creative solutions and workarounds to achieve marketing goals with available resources. Collaborate effectively with other team members, including product, technology, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive brand experience. Qualifications: 2-6 years of proven experience in digital marketing, preferably within a B2C startup environment. Experience in the fintech or payments industry is a plus. Solid understanding of various digital marketing channels and their effective utilization. Hands-on experience with SEO, including keyword research and on-page optimization. Experience in planning, executing, and managing paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads) with a focus on ROI. Proficiency in social media marketing and community management. Experience with email marketing platforms and best practices for list segmentation and campaign automation. Basic understanding of content marketing principles and the ability to create or curate engaging content. Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Resourceful, creative, and adaptable, with a passion for achieving results with limited resources. Based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Bonus Points: Experience with marketing automation tools. Basic graphic design skills (Canva, etc.). Experience with influencer marketing. Understanding of the digital payments landscape and consumer behavior in this sector.
