Diamond assorter

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Diamond Assorter to join its quality control and production team. This role is ideal for someone with an exceptional eye for detail, precision grading experience, and a deep appreciation for the artistry of luxury jewellery. The Diamond Assorter will play a critical role in ensuring every gem meets the exacting standards of our brand’s elegance and authenticity.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine, classify, and assort diamonds based on cut, clarity, colour, and carat weight
• Identify inconsistencies and ensure quality standards are met across batches
• Coordinate with sourcing, design, and manufacturing teams on diamond specifications
• Maintain detailed records of assorting batches and diamond inventories
• Assist in cataloging diamond lots for client presentations and custom orders
• Collaborate with designers to recommend diamonds suited to specific jewellery styles
• Support showroom readiness by preparing and organizing stones for display and appointments

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in diamond assorting or grading
• Strong knowledge of diamond 4Cs and assorting techniques
• Ability to work with precision tools and gemmological instruments
• Familiarity with luxury jewellery standards and client expectations
• GEM-A or GIA certification (preferred but not mandatory)
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi
• Software handling in related field
• Graduation Required
