Dialysis Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Treatment

• Prepare and set up dialysis machines and related equipment before each session.
  
• Perform pre- and post-dialysis patient assessments (vitals, weight, condition checks).
  
• Initiate, monitor, and terminate hemodialysis procedures safely and accurately.
  
• Ensure patient comfort and address concerns during treatment.
  
• Monitor and document patients responses, vital signs, and any complications.
  

Technical & Equipment Management

• Maintain and operate dialysis machines, RO water system, and related medical devices.
  
• Conduct routine calibration, disinfection, and maintenance of dialysis equipment.
  
• Report equipment malfunction or abnormalities to the biomedical/maintenance team.
  

Clinical Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate records of treatment, patient charts, and dialysis logs.
  
• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards.
  
• Adhere to hospital guidelines, NABH standards, and quality control procedures.
  

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with nephrologists, nursing staff, and other medical team members.
  
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, diet, and care instructions.
  
• Assist during emergencies or complications related to dialysis.

  Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:

  Degree /Diploma in Dialysis Technology or relevant allied health sciences.

• Experience:

• Fresher / 16years

  may be considered.

• Preferred:

  2+ years of experience in a hospital dialysis unit.
