Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating functionality for the next generation of pre-press software. This software includes a cloud-based interface for configuration and monitoring, as well as a processing engine for transforming PDF files into printable data. Your work will involve a wide range of technologies, communication protocols, and programming languages to provide customers with a fully automated digital printing workflow. You will be part of a small team using modern tools and methodology to deliver innovative products in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement new software components handling Pre-Press PDF processing in a distributed environment. - Develop connectivity with customers' systems, the print engine, and the cloud platform. - Create configuration and monitoring functionality within the cloud platform. - Participate in extending the automated build and test framework. - Conduct code reviews and ensure that your developments pass CI daily. - Apply software quality standards through adequate automated tests. - Collaborate with various stakeholders such as print specialists, product owners, field technicians, and customers. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of experience in writing software solutions in C# and C++. - Excellent knowledge of C# and .NET. - Good understanding of modern software development principles, concepts, and practices. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well in a team and enjoy collaborative work. - Experience in cloud technologies (full-stack) would be an asset. - Knowledge of digital printing technologies, image processing, and GPU programming/CUDA. - BSc or MSc in computer science. - Proficiency in English and French languages. *Please note that the additional details about the company have been omitted as they were not explicitly mentioned in the job description.
